The qualification is for those who have completed the Level 2 (7763-02 or 7863-02) and want to further their grooming knowledge. It allows candidates to gain the practical skills and knowledge to further their career in Professional Dog Grooming.

On this half day course, you will learn to groom your own dog and all about the different equipment you will need. We will teach you to groom a basic body clip, shape your dogs feet and tail as well as putting in a basic head shape.

Our students learn through a mix of theoretical and practical sessions, including trips and work experience, to gain an understanding of the competitive sports industries. On successful completion, you could progress onto our Level 3 sports courses.

This programme will give you a fundamental understanding of the core principles and enable you to transition to Level 3 study. You’ll gain introductory-level practical skills in a range of outdoor activities, including sailing, canoeing, climbing, and hill walking. Complete work experience to gain first-hand experience in the real world. On successful completion you could progress onto our Level 3 Foundation Diploma Sport and Outdoor Activities or our Level 3 Foundation Diploma Uniformed Protective Services.
