Amber Fielden

Amber studied BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury University and now amazingly works at Fitzpatrick Referrals (Channel 4's Supervet).

AMBER'S HARTPURY EXPERIENCE

"I chose Hartpury because I loved that vet nursing had its own dedicated practical centre. We also had a great amount of dedicated time each week to prepare us for our OSCE practicals, ensuring we did everything properly. This was one of the best things about the course.

At Fitzpatrick Referrals, I support in the surgical prep area and the inpatient wards. I’m also a member of the hip team, which means I get to scrub in to assist the surgeons performing hip replacements. We call it ‘running the table’, ensuring the orthopaedic surgeons have the kit they need to do their work. I really enjoy it."
