Thalia's Hartpury Experience
"I first found out about Hartpury when I was working for event rider Helen Ball. She had a McTimoney practitioner working on her horses and I just loved seeing the benefits he made to them. I said I wanted to learn more and they told me to check out Hartpury. Finally finding this degree is what bought me back to my passion of being able to work with both the horse and rider.
I really enjoyed the Human and Rider Performance module. It brought the horse and rider back together, and focused on the rider as an athlete. That’s what’s led me to the job I do today."
Developing Industry Conditions
"My lecturers encouraged me to get as much experience as possible and were always on hand to give advice. I worked in the Equine Therapy Centre on campus as well as helping with the business-side of things at the Hartpury arena. It was a huge part of me being able to get a job once I graduated."
