Introduced in 2021, this £730,000 activity area consists of a covered 60m x 30m arena finished with an Andrews Bowen Pro Wax Surface. A 22m-diameter round pen completes a contemporary learning environment for Hartpury University and College students as well as as an additional warm-up area for competitors.
Hartpury Arena
The main indoor Hartpury Arena features a 70m x 40m Andrews Bowen surface and seating for 600 spectators. The arena also has hospitality boxes that double up as classrooms as well as a restaurant and bar.
International Arena
The international outdoor arena is 80m x 60m with an adjacent 60m x 30m warm-up arena, finished with attractive white rails and a grass bank ideal for spectators. There’s also plenty of space around the arena for trade stands and exhibitors.
Indoor Arenas
In addition to the covered outdoor arena and the indoor Hartpury Arena, we have three additional indoor arenas (60m x 25m, 60m x 21m, and 25m x 35m) ideal for equitation and groundwork as well as warm-up for competitions.
Stables and livery
We have stabling for 230 horses, ideal for offering student livery as well as housing competition horses at our annual equestrian events.
